  • NEXT EVENT: Protest the Pope - March and Rally

    Saturday 18th September 2010, 1:30pm at Hyde Park Corner

    On Saturday September 18th at 1:30pm, GALHA will be joining the other members of the Protest the Pope coalition in a march and rally to protest against the Pope's State Visit to the UK.

    We will be assembling around 1:30pm at Hyde Park Corner, at the top of Piccadilly. From there we will proceed through central London via Piccadilly, Piccadilly Circus, Haymarket, Trafalgar Square and Whitehall.

    Our ultimate destination will be Richmond Terrace, opposite Downing Stree, where there will be a final rally with speeches.

    At the arrival point, opposite Downing Street, on Richmond Terrace, there will be the final Rally with speeches.

    It would be great to see as many GALHA supporters there as possible. We will be marching with the GALHA banner, so please join us.

  • Family Affair?

    Wednesday 10th November 2010, 7:30pm at Conway Hall

    A TALK BY Dr MATT COOK, SENIOR LECTURER IN HISTORY AND GENDER STUDIES, BIRKBECK, UNIVERSITY OF LONDON.

    Dr Cook will draw on new research to look back at the past century to consider the relationship between homosexuals and family life, and more particularly, parenting.

    (Please note that this meeting was originally scheduled for February 10th but had to be rearranged because of personal reasons).
